Can it store music from Qobuz or Tidal offline?
Hello,
No, it can't store music offline, and that's kind of the only problem with it. The Tidal application is very basic, it's better to organise your playlists from the Windows application (to have Tidal or Qobuz available offline it must be possible to share a connection with your smartphone). Small bug on mine, it loses the Tidal account from time to time, I have to reconnect, I hope it will be resolved with a future update.
By the way, a small correction to what you can read on the web: the data-base for your own files on SD card is no longer limited to 20,000 but to 50,000 (official Hiby source and supporting test). You can add more, but only the first 50,000 will be organised by the data-base, although the rest is available in 'file' mode.
Other than that, the sound quality is impeccable, the battery life comfortable and the charging time quick. The 3.5mm headphone output is just a little weak compared with other players, and you'd have to use the balanced 4.4 output for 80 Ohm headphones.
Thanks for all the clarification, I'll pass on that.
