Japan is stated here, but not on the Skross page. Is this adapter really compatible with the 2-pin sockets in Japan?

I am currently in Japan with exactly this adapter. Unfortunately it is not compatible with the 2-pin sockets, but Japan also has 3-pin sockets, with which it is compatible and thankfully my first hotel also has one. If you have a device that is 3-pin I can recommend the adapter, but if not I would recommend the 2-pin.
