Question about Samsung Galaxy S22
I've bought a Samsung Galaxy S22. When transferring my data to this new phone, I can't retrieve my WhatsApp chat history. I save my chats on Google Drive. This isn't the first time I've changed phones without any problems. But this time, when I installed and opened WhatsApp, then proceeded to check my number on the new phone, I don't get any suggestion to restore my chats from Google Drive. I'm using the same number. Why is it that when I install WhatsApp on my new phone, I don't get the suggestion to restore my chats from Google Drive?

I had exactly the same problem a week ago. I solved it by uninstalling WhatsApp on the new mobile and reinstalling it. Then I was asked if I wanted to restore the data (photos, videos, chat history, etc.). I suspect that the pre-installed WhatsApp version on the new mobile had led to this problem.
