Question about Sony ECM-GZ1M

It is important to know that the AIS from Sony is NOT standardised. Sony uses different sizes of the adapter socket under the designation AIS, so that it is necessary to check carefully on the Sony website beforehand whether the device and the microphone are really 100% compatible. Unfortunately, Sony has neglected to standardise the AIS (to provide it with a designation so that it is not so easy to mix it up). It has also been reported that certain switch positions on this microphone model were not effective and then only the standard microphone of the camera was used, as with switch position -0-.
