Is this lens suitable for the Panasonic LUMIX DC-G9? Is the lens splashproof?

Yes, and no ;-)
Yes - because both products belong to the MFT system (sensor format, bayonet and data communication). But the Panasonic counterpart (Lumix G 25mm f/1.7 Asph.) is optically even better and even noticeably cheaper. But apart from the bayonet, it is "only" made of (high-quality) plastic...
And no - both are not splash-proof or dust-proof. You would have to buy the big one from the (expensive) Olympus PRO line...
