Yes. Also use it to connect router and notebook with Devolo Magic 2.

I use it between a switch and an access point that is operated as a client - bridge. It worked perfectly right away. This answer now also goes via this cable :-)

Yes. It's a standard network cable, no crossover. I also use it between router and computer.
