Is this tablet also suitable for reading e-books? (because of screen brightness etc.) Can you switch to a reading mode or is there a "reading app"?

Unless you want to read on the beach, the tablet is well suited for eBooks. Suitable apps would be e.g. Kindle App from Amazon, if you buy the books from Amazon, or otherwise e.g. Alkido. Brightness can be adjusted with practically all eBook apps. You can also adjust the brightness of the tablet itself.
