Is this product really the Philips Hue Iris base (with slat design inside) and not the new BT model? And if so, can the base also be controlled via the mobile app or do I get a remote control?

This is correct, I have not used the Bluethooth function so far because I control my flat via the Hue Bridge, which is very recommendable from my point of view. As the control is very simplified with it.
