Yes, it's compatible (if you use the Z6 or Z7 body) and it works well - so no problem. But with the optical languages, the battery is drained and the stabilisation is a bit limited. If you already know that you'll be using long lenses regularly, I'd go for the RS 2 / 3 pro.
