is this PCIex8 usable on a PCIeX16 slot AND is this device with GDDR3 memory really better than one with DDR3 (GDDR3 being based on DDR2 memory)

2. DDR3 is a user replaceable part (RAM modules), GDDR3 refers to memory which is used for graphics cards.
