You can certainly play games with this monitor, but it doesn't seem to be designed for gaming.
Signs of this are only 60Hz refresh rate and 8ms response time. On the other hand, this monitor has an IPS panel which provides good viewing angle stability and good colour reproduction.

If you mainly want to play shooters or fast or competitive games in general, I would recommend a gaming monitor with >100Hz and FreeSync (if you have an AMD graphics card) or GSync (if you have an NVIDIA graphics card).
