Is this monitor compatible with the Surface 4 Pro and the docking station? How do I find out if the whole thing works?
Good day
I don't have a Surface Pro 4 but a Lumia 950 with docking, which is technically very close. And although the Lumia is not 4k but 'only' a Quad-HD part, the performance and display on the BenQ is impressive. As mentioned by Manibac3, the monitor has a variety of ports and I use it for three devices without having to switch. An old PC with Full HD, a new one with 2160x3840 and the Lumia.
I can only recommend the monitor except for the somewhat fiddly touch buttons in the bottom right frame.

Hello Whitti
The monitor has a variety of ports, including DP (display port). The docking station from Microsoft has two mini display ports. This means you can connect the dock to the display port via a mini display port cable. However, I don't know exactly how the graphics performance of the Surface is. Depending on the model, you might not get the highest resolution. The monitor itself is not bad. Unfortunately, with my model, there are blue spots at the bottom of the screen from time to time. In case of a warranty claim, you have to contact the manufacturer BenQ directly. Digitec / Galaxus will not take care of it.
I hope this has helped you a little.
