Question about Canon EF 70-300mm F/4-5.6 IS II USM
Is this lens compatible with the Canon eos 60d, if so would it be worth it?

The lens is compatible with your camera. I use it with an EOS 600d and am very satisfied with the lens. Of course, the imaging performance is not as good as the very expensive "L" lenses from Canon. However, if you want to buy a good lens with a very good price/performance ratio as a hobby photographer, you are certainly very well served with this lens!
