is this lens compatible with a canon eos 650d if so what is the lens suitable for, i.e. what kind of photos?

The lens can be used with the Canon 650d. Ideal for wildlife photography, objects but also for portraits. Don't forget that this is a telephoto lens, so you will be shooting from a greater distance.
