Question about Sony E 35mm f/1.8 OSS
Is this lens also suitable for landscapes or street photography, e.g. to photograph sights in cities? Or really only for portraits?
A bit late with the answer but I use this thing for everything. For landscape photography excellent but maybe a tad so big focal length. 23 mm with this speed would be perfect.
I also like to use it for landscape and architecture. It is nice and compact and has a good image quality.
Of course, the angle of view is not as wide as with a wide-angle - but you can achieve that very well with several photos and a panorama software (e.g. Affinity Photo), especially for landscape and architecture.

I would describe this lens as a very good all-rounder. For portraits I find it only conditionally good, but that is my taste :-)
