Is this disk also suitable for use with the PS5? I don't have one yet, but would like to expand my PS4 library. But it would be good if this hard disk were also suitable for a future PS5.

Yes and no. The PS5 recognises external hard drives and all PS4 games installed on them can be started directly, but PS5 games cannot currently be installed on external drives. The memory of the PS5 can then be expanded later via the built-in M.2 slot, but this is currently still deactivated.
