Question about Seagate IronWolf

Is this disk also compatible for a Synology 213+ NAS? I have already been to the Synology compatibility site. But I only got half a clue there. As I understand it, an IronWolf disk with 6TB would be possible, but for 10TB there is only the BarraCuda (Seagate) product line to choose from. Can this be the case and if so, why?

In my opinion, the disk should work with the current DSM 6.2.

I can't say anything directly about the DS213+, but I have used these plates in a DS214 without any problems. Only the mounting of the plates in the slide was a bit tricky: there are only two threads for screws on each side. However, my slides were prepared for 3 screw holes, which also worked with WD plates. Now I just had to adjust the fastening a bit.
To cut a long story short: I don't see any problems mechanically. On the software side, I can't say anything watertight. But I would assume that the disk should work if you have the latest DSM installed... On the compatibility list, there is at least a 10TB disk on it...
