Is this device suitable for the Canon eos 77d? Not quite sure from the description, also because of the weight...?

The "Joby GorillaPod 1K Stand, can be attached like any tripod to probably any camera.
It is small and can be quickly stowed away and taken along, I almost always have mine attached to the camera. I hope this answer helps you.
