Is this adapter suitable for permanent installations or only for travelling?
This is a travel plug.
- It has a microfuse to limit the unit to 10A.
- It is pluggable on the unit side, the unit can be disconnected from the adapter without tools.
An adapter for permanent use in Switzerland to adapt a device with a foreign plug must not be removable once it has been plugged in.

by the way, this should be about a device that was delivered by Digitec, with a plug that does not fit...
Digitec is obliged to supply electrical appliances with a Swiss plug. If the appliance is supplied with a foreign plug, a suitable replacement cable should be supplied if the mains cable is pluggable or alternatively if the mains cable is permanently connected, a suitable adapter should be supplied.
If the appliance is delivered without a suitable plug, complain to the customer service and insist on a cable or an adapter, free of charge.
It is definitely not intended as a travel adapter, but specifically for use in Swiss triple sockets.
