Question about Lenovo 0A36309 ThinkPad notebook battery 81+
Is this a new battery or "new" stock that has been lying around for a few years? Batteries age even without use... 2 hours without a power cable is not that great.
I ordered a battery in May 2019. The delivered battery was produced in January 2019, so it was lying around (charged) for about 4 months. This is acceptable in my opinion, it is enough for the battery not to discharge deeply, i.e. get bearing damage.
In fact, the usage time is not as long as I remember from the original battery. But the BS I have on it now is not the same either, of course. In addition, I never charge it up to 100% the other day to save it.
