Is there any news when the External Tracking Faceplate mod will be available?

It is now available. So at least it's buyable ;)
As far as I know, there are no precise details yet. The end of the year is the most exact date. Just be aware that in addition to the tracking faceplate, you will also need new controllers that support outside-in tracking.
