Question about Google Nest Hub

Is there a Spotify alarm function? Does Spotify run as an app on the Nest Hub or as Spotify connect? Can I also watch Netflix on it? Would a tablet with Google Assistant have the same benefit/functionality?

Netflix works fine. Just say the series season etc or if you say the series it starts from where you left off last time.
Spotify doesn't have an app on the Nest Hub, it's all voice command. That's why it's Spotify Connect. Unfortunately you can't wake yourself up with music.

Think of the Google Nest Hub as a tablet that is always on in your room. The mobile phones will understand you better than if you only have a Google tablet. It's ideal for controlling smart home devices, watching Netflix, listening to music, or watching YouTube videos.
