As said above, yes and no. There is a Z-shaped bracket to clip onto the monitor or place on a flat surface. The ring around the lens is a nice touch for filming in dark places. I highly recommend this product, I use it mainly for filming "SetLive" [DJs] it's the best.

You could say that. There's a sort of L shape underneath to hold onto the screen. Overall, the mount is Z-shaped, so it can be placed on the desk or on the screen. But if you mean a tripod, no. But it does have a place to be aimed at.
