Is the thing waterproof and can it be worn in the water or while showering, or can it be washed off directly with water when sweating ?
No, this is not recommended. According to the definition, the watch is splash-proof, rain-proof and sweat-proof. This means that the Fitbit Charge 2 is neither waterproof, swimproof nor showerproof.
