Is the remote release also compatible with the Canon EOS 70D?

The Canon EOS 70D requires a 3.5 mm plug for the remote release, so not compatible

With an N3 -> E3 adapter (would have to be bought separately) it is compatible. Very good device, I am very satisfied. However, there are also generic products with E3 connectors that are directly compatible.
