Is the picture flicker-free or is there pulse width modulation (PWM)?

The image projection via the VAVA 4k beamer is free of flicker - PWM emanates from a screen and not from a beamer projecting the images onto a wall or screen!
In my opinion, the projection is flicker-free. What a PWM is supposed to do here, I don't understand.
