Question about SANDISK Extreme Portable

Checking the serial number on the Sandisk support website has shown that the SSD I purchased is not affected.

Hard to say. Mine is used as a NAS and has no problems so far, but who knows. SanDisk claims it's a software problem, some analysts say it's a hardware problem... I wouldn't take the risk myself just to save a few euros.

Allegedly, those produced from 2022 to 2023 are affected (at least that's what you can find on the internet). Which ones are sold by Galaxus is still open, not worth risking.
