Is the microphone compatible with the Lumix Panasonic DMC-FZ200 camera? If not, do you have a suitable suggestion?

According to relevant forums, you only need the 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter.
Something like this: Lindy 2.5mm stereo jack - 3.5mm jack (female) (0.20m, Midrange, Black)
