It uses its own pre-paired USB receiver, which is not identical to the Unifying receiver and therefore does not work with it by default. Technical reprogramming to pair it with a Unifying receiver is possible, but is neither officially supported nor easy to implement. For normal use, the USB receiver supplied should be used.
