Is the back, specifically the battery cover the exact same shade of black as the standard black controller?

No, the battery cover is a little darker and shinier than the standard Xbox Series X|S controller. On the inside of the cover there is also an inscription: "When everybody plays, we all win." Signed by Phil P3.
