Is such a wireless mouse equivalent to a LogitechM500, i.e. with a cable? We need the mouse for CAD work and therefore depend on precision.

It can be used in CAD without any problems. I have been using the predecessor (also wireless) for several months for CAD drawing, among other things.

This cannot be compared to it - as the MX Master 2S is much higher quality and more robust. Very good connection to the computer, no interruptions, very good battery life. Can only recommend it.

I have been using this mouse for some time now and would not want to do without it. Just because of the massively higher resolution of the sensor of 4000dpi, it is much more precise and "finer" controllable than any other mouse I have had so far. In addition, the MX Master 2S, like all Master or Performance models, fits perfectly in the hand and therefore there are no signs of fatigue even after hours of work. What makes the MX 2S particularly useful is the side scroll wheel. I use this mouse with a Logitech K800 keyboard via the same dongle. With Logitech's software (Logitech Options), you can configure the mouse completely as you wish.
