Is it worth buying this power supply at all, because I've just read only bad reviews and the Youtube videos also show only guessing fans. Are the cable lengths that bad?

Power supply unit 550W ordered in use from approx. 02.11.2016

I use this power supply in the [Fractal Node 202][Fractal Node 202 (HTPC)](https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/fractal-node-202-htpc-pc-gehaeuse-5643134) with an i5 boxed fan and GTX1060 6G
-> in hindsight I could have easily used a smaller power supply -> enough power anyway

I would have claimed that my whole PC is quiet as a mouse, but I listened for you and could detect a slight hissing right at the power supply. But I suspect [this reason](https://blog.mindfactory.de/netzteilgerausche-corsair-erklart-es-einmal-ganz-genau/)

Anyway: I didn't notice that it was "hissing".

Hi, mine is quiet and the cables are more than long enough for a midi tower.
