Question about Sony Xperia 1 V
Is it true that the Xperia 1 V will only get 1 major Android update? I once read that Sony would only promise 2 Android updates (+ 1 year of security patches), and the Xperia 1 V probably already had 1 Android update. I think the device is great, but such short software support would be a dealbreaker for me at this price.

No, that's not true. I've only had the device for a few months and there has already been more than one update.
So I currently have Android 14 on it and let's see what the future brings, a lot is said but nobody knows exactly and Sony is unpredictable on the topic of smartphones anyway
