In terms of quality, I have to tell you that this device is really very good and I would say that your neck should be a maximum of 13 to 14 cm wide to make it work, but otherwise I don't think there are any real problems and you can possibly just order the device without unpacking it and send it back if it doesn't meet your expectations. I find the device very good for my purposes, which are mainly for watching TV in bed. Unfortunately, I can't say for telephoning as I use an overhead headset. Have a nice Thursday and best regards Thomas
It depends on what you mean by a strong neck :-) the shortest distance is 14cm (where the thin layer ends), between speaker to speaker at the furthest point at rest is 15cm. If I expand it by moving the drivers apart, I even measure 20cm. The base where the 2 speakers are connected, which is then behind the neck, is very flexible.
I have had them for a long time and I am very happy with them, I use them a lot for team meetings. They are very light and you hardly hear them. Your neighbours hear with you anyway (normal or high volume).
It's difficult to say without measurements - but for me, with a relatively strong neck, it doesn't sit tightly on my shoulders in any way. But if you have particularly strong neck muscles, you may feel differently.
