Question about Elgato Stream Deck
Is it possible to set up the streamdeck on a PC and then continue to use it on another PC where the software is not installed - as there are no admin rights (business computer) - ? Or in other words, does the software have to be available in the background? Many thanks for the answers. PS I assume that the Steamdeack types (S, M, L) are all the same and therefore not relevant.
To be able to use the buttons on the stream deck, the programme must be running in the background.

It depends on what you have stored on the streamdeck, if you want to open any links then you need the software but I think if you have programmed actions or hotkeys on the streamdeck in the program it should work.
