Is it possible to scan the deposit disc/invoices for payments? Is it recognised as a scanner by the bank or Post Online Banking?
Not properly supported by e.g. PayMaker, especially OCR-B font is only poorly recognised. The device is now lying around unused. Definitely a bad buy.

Can you use it to read in invoices and such?
Yes, you can "glide" over any line you want to transcribe.
Is it useful for processing deposit letters/invoices?
Not in my eyes. After a week of using it, I still hadn't trained the correct "speed" and "angle" at which to use it. If you are too fast, slow, steep or flat, it reads the letters incorrectly and then fills in individual numbers and symbols incorrectly.
Checking and correcting the scanned data takes far longer than the average accountant takes to type an invoice and opens up a source of error that is not even more efficient in the accounting field where cleanliness/accuracy is essential.
Conclusion: Unsuitable for accounting unless the user is dyslexic.
