It is possible to register a second C575 HX handset on the same C575 A base station. The base station supports registering up to six handsets, each assigned an internal number and name. Therefore, you do not necessarily need the C575 A Duo version to use a second handset; you can add an additional handset to the existing base station by pairing it following the standard registration process.
