Is it possible to read in text or numbers without contact (OCR)? The description says: "for details see data sheet"... ...unfortunately I did not find it :-(

Yes, it is possible.
But an additional OCR licence (Honeywell) must be purchased.
This licence file must then be installed on the scanner via the Honeywell tool "EZConfig".
Only then will the OCR functionality be activated.
