Is it possible to connect the screen directly to the power via a second cable? In other words, do not supply power via the laptop itself. If so, what kind of power cable would I need?
The screen has 2 usb-C connections. So you can power the screen directly via usb-c and even charge your laptop with it. A normal usb-c power delivery cable + charger is sufficient.
