Is it possible to connect the monitor to the notebook (Acer or Lenovo Thinkpad) via the HDMI cable without any problems? I'm asking because my other monitor (BenQ) also has several connections, but I can't connect it via HDMI. It can only be connected via the DP and then only with an adapter. As soon as the table shakes briefly, the monitor goes black :)...

This is difficult to say because the model specifications of the Benq monitor and notebooks are missing.

It could also be the HDMI cable, a premium HDMI cable could help.

But this Philips monitor, it's nothing, it has a very poor resolution. For 252 francs you can already get a 27 inch UHD LG screen with 2 x HDMI 2.0 with 3840 x 2160 pixels at Digitec. That's 4 times HD.

If you want a 24 inch display, I would choose one with 2560 x 1440 pixels, e.g. this one:

Dell P2421D (24", 2560 x 1440 Pixels)
