Is it possible to connect the monitor (ASUS ProArt PA329C) via USB-C to e.g. a MacBook and use the port simultaneously for video signal and as a USB hub?

I think this should work if the notebook can supply enough power.
Assuming that a Mac behaves like a Windows computer, yes. I can supply the notebook with a maximum of 65 watts of power, transfer the 4k image from the notebook to the screen and connect the USB hub on the screen for the mouse, headset, printer with Lan-USB transition piece to the network. All with just one USB-C cable from the notebook to the screen.
