Is it possible to connect a MacBook Pro via the USB--C of the monitor, so that power and video are sent at the same time (all with one cable), quasi a DisplayLink function? There are many posts on the Lenovo forum where people write that it is not possible with all Lenovo models.
Yes, it works, the monitor can supply up to 90 watts. If people write that it doesn't work, that could be because there are notebooks that can only transfer data via USB-C. But there is no danger of this for a MacBook.
