Is it possible to connect a Macbook Air with the M1 to this monitor without any problems using only a usb C cable?

Yes, you can, but I wouldn't recommend this screen because it doesn't offer a lot of vertical viewing options. It's only 1080 pixels and you have to keep scrolling up and down to see more. My recommendation would be this model:

Philips 439P1/00 (3840 x 2160 Pixels, 42.51 ")

It can also charge a Macbook via USB-C and with the 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution you have much more displayable image content.
