is it possible to block the commands through a child? don't want children poking holes in my nest hub with questions... uch know there is google family link but you have to set up an account for the child. uch just want him to recognise the voice and know not to respond to it...!
google already recognises votes, so it would be cool if you could "lock" votes...
Unfortunately, there is no absolute security at all. As already reported, you can set up Voice Match, but the advantage of this is rather that Google tries to find appropriate answers based on the questioner. For example, it looks in the calendar of the person in question to give appointments, or provides data on the preferred means of transport for traffic queries. My children can still call Hey or OK Google and half of them listen. Sometimes, even when watching TV or listening to the radio, he feels he suddenly has to listen.
It is possible to set up Voice Match: https://support.google.com/assistant...
However, I have also had false positives (a colleague at work asked a question on my behalf).
As far as I know, only minimal restrictions are possible: https://support.google.com/googlenest...
I have settled down with the children, of course everything new has to be tried out (not only by the children).
