Is it possible that the two USB ports at the back are too weak for some charging stations? For example, I have a charging station for a portable Bose speaker. does it only work with 230V?

That may be so. There are 3 connections with 2.4A and one with 1A. How many volts and amps does your Bose speaker need? This is usually written on the speaker itself (label) or on the adapter (output not input).

The power supply unit only delivers 4A secondarily. This makes it easy to calculate what is left over.
E.g. iPhone charges with 2A, Watch with 500mA, so there is still 1.5A left. Just enough for iPad.
Digitec should have an option for this article, so that a power supply unit with 6 or 8A can be ordered additionally.
