Question about B&O Beoplay E8

Is it possible that the Beoplay E8 are not compatible with Huawei P20 devices? All my headphones and speakers (Sony, JBL, etc.) work fine with the Huawei P20, but the Beoplay E8 do not. The Beoplay app says the headphones are connected, and you can hear that the Beoplay are connected (noise reduction works), but you can't play music via Spotify, for example -- even though this is supposed to be done via the Beoplay. Kind of unsatisfactory. Tips?

Dear community, have you found a solution to the problem described above? I have the same problems with an iPhone 12 as my end device.

Have the same problem... I don't think it can be like that for the price.... P20 or MI9 don't manage to play the sound, they are not recognised as headphones and only connect that way.

I don't know if I have the same problem, but with my P9 Plus from Huawei, I have to first remove and then reconnect the earphones when connecting with Bluetooth so that sound can be played. And this every time again.
BT connect -> disconnect -> connect. But that always worked *sigh*.
