Is it better for gaming than the intel i7-6700 without k? So is the 100 chf surcharge worth it?
The K means that the processor has a free multiplier and is therefore suitable for overclocking. Although it is easier today than it used to be, you should know how to do it, otherwise you will break more than it helps. Besides, it's the graphics cards rather than the CPU that are limiting today. In your case and assuming that you have no ambitions to overclock, I would recommend the normal i5.
