Is anyone running the Dell UltraSharp U4320Q monitor in combination with the latest late 2020 Macbook Pro M1? What kind of connection is the monitor connected to and is the full resolution supported at at least 60Hz? Thank you.
Hi Stefan
I have the screen running at 3840 x 2160 @60.00Hz on a MacBook Air M1 (2020), connected via USB-C. Fits perfectly. The MB Air is charged via the same cable and the screen serves as a USB hub, only the network cable has to be routed separately to the MB Air as the screen has no RJ45 port.

Hello Stefan
I have the screen and run it on a PC. Since I don't have a Macbook, I can't say for sure what works.
The screen has 2 HDMI, 2 Displayport and a USB C input that you can select as the source for the image. The Macbook only has USB C outputs, so that's what you'll connect the screen to. There is an option to use the data lines from USB-C to transmit Displayport (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki...). The Macbooks seem to be able to output display signals via USB-C according to the Displayport 1.2 standard. The Dell even has Displayport 1.4 via USB-C. If I see it correctly, Displayport 1.2 is sufficient to transmit 4K at 60 Hz. Therefore, the USB-C cable should work. A corresponding cable is included with the screen.
