In principle, no! My 8 Pro has a (very) simple protective film on it. So no Gorilla glass or anything like that, just the usual thin plastic film to protect it from transport damage.
For the back, however, a soft, rubber-like protective cover is included.

My Oneplus 7T pro had one on it. It's probably on every Oneplus. It should also have a cover.
