In my case, only the laptop is charged via USB-C, but there is no image signal transmission. Either it's the cable or the monitor or the wrong settings. I tried it with a MacBook and a PC. Can anyone help me?
I had that too. It was due to the poor quality of the cable supplied.
If possible, I would work with Display Port, because Display Port works with 77 GB per sec. compared to HDMI with 43 GB per sec. At 8K and resolution, both are the same.
So if you have Display Port output on your computer, I would recommend that.
With my Lenovo laptop and Windows 10, the image and data transfer works. Have you selected the USB-C input channel for the screen in the menu?
the question is not clear to me either.
i unpacked the monitor, connected it to the power supply and connected it to my mcbook (which only has usb-c ports and is connected to the power supply) using the usb-c cable supplied. everything worked straight away.
Have you switched to usb-c in the input settings (1st touch button, as soon as the rectangle with the arrow appears)?
Unfortunately, the question is too imprecise for me.
Or to put it another way, I have connected my Eizo via HDMI.
